The newly opened Cafe CRO is located in the heart of Vienna. A French patisserie with unique croissant creations that you have never seen before. A piece of Paris in Vienna. The modern and detailed cafe sets the bar high for existing and future cafes in Vienna and I can hardly wait to show you more about it.
From the outside the cafe looks very minimalistic. 2 large windows and a subtle logo – you can still spot the coffee shop from afar. The CRO is a fairly small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating – no matter what time of year. Inside, a very clannish furnishing style was chosen, but with some unique details that guests will remember – such as the photo wall with the appropriate funny saying.
The selection is limited – and I think I know the reason – because all the pastries look so incredibly delicious that you can hardly decide which one you want to eat. Sweet and salty croissants are offered. In addition, they also had the coveted cinnamon rolls with a double portion of icing and various variations of large cookies. – Heaven!
After much deliberation, we decided on the raspberry croissant and pistachio croissant. Plus a cappuccino and an Earl Gray tea. – a real taste explosion.
The cafe is of a different standard that the Viennese are used to – and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s about time that the modern / unique cafes / bakeries / pastry shops open in Vienna and raise the bar to the top. The quality in the CRO was simply at the highest level. Price performance was also right. A real hotspot in Vienna!
Conclusion:
A calorie bomb that looks so good simply has to taste good.
