Das 1090 – the best brunch spot in Vienna

My personal favorite all-you-can-eat brunch spot in Vienna, which I always warmly recommend to everyone.

This is the restaurant 1090, which is located in the 9th district of Vienna. It’s open all year long – although I always find it a little more comfortable in summer because of the terrace outside. Nevertheless, it is very tastefully decorated. A mix of the old lordship with the current modernity. – my personal favorite mix. A perfect brunch spot that you definitely have to visit at least once in your life.

And I know that I’m not the only one in Vienna who thinks like that, because it’s always fully booked at least 1 week in advance. Without a reservation you don’t actually get a seat, otherwise at the bar. Brunch is only available on Saturdays and Sundays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Since, as has been said several times, the Viennese are so touched, there is a time slot of 2 hours where you can eat as much as you want.

The brunch consists of a buffet. There is a section where there are warm skewers, such as egg dishes, bacon, beak and beans, mushrooms, potatoes, etc. Then there is the deli department. There is a selection of different types of cheese, ham, salami and fish – and so much more. Then comes the fruit section and, last but not least, the area for those with a sweet tooth – the cake department, where there is a large selection of traditional but also seasonal pastries. – don’t be shy and try everything as long as u can.
