„I´m a better person when I´m moisturized.“; Eucerin
The cosmetics brand Eucerin has been dedicated to primary care in pharmaceutical quality for over 100 years. To be precise, the brand is celebrating its 120th birthday. The Eucerin brand is characterized by its simple appearance and high success. Dermatological research to finally give people who have bad/sensitive skin some peace. I can personally tell you a thing or two about it.
Just as we are all different, so is our skin. So it’s understandable that not the same product is helpful for everyone. The products in normal drugstores are intended for normal skin and often contain a lot of fragrances. Of course they smell good, but completely counterproductive for sensitive skin like mine. The ingredients are too aggressive for me and I can’t tolerate them at all. That’s why I’m happy to have found a brand that completely understands me. There is even a separate product series for neurodermatitis (my skin disease), called: AtopiControl.
There are also other product series from Eucerin, but today I would like to tell you more about AtopiControl and UreaRepair. This series from the cosmetic brand is dedicated to extremely dry skin and neurodermatitis. It’s about supplying the skin barrier with as much moisture as possible, which is not too drying or moisturizing. So that the skin is well cared for and no tears can occur in the skin barrier. And this allows bacteria to enter. Anyone can use this range of products if they feel it, but specifically it is for very damaged skin.
In order to tell you more about the exact products, it is important that you understand our skin. Because in autumn/winter the temperatures drop and heating starts. This causes our skin to reduce its natural sebum production and our skin often begins to rebel. This can also just be due to a sudden feeling of tension or redness. It is therefore important to pay attention to the first signs of our skin and react accordingly.

1. Scalp serum
The Urea Scalp Soothing Intensive Tonic was a real miracle cure in times of crisis for my scalp. Since neurodermatitis can also occur on the scalp and it is quite itchy and it is not possible to apply cream there, or it is quite difficult. Therefore, this serum is very practical in this regard. Apply to the scalp 1-2 times a day as needed and massage in.
2. Acute care cream
The acute care cream is the first aid for inflamed skin before you have to resort to cortisone. This cream actively reduces inflammation and soothes with a cooling effect. This cream can also be applied to the affected area of skin several times a day. There is no limit, just apply according to your personal feeling.
3. Soothing rich body lotion
This body lotion from Eucerin, like the acute care cream, is a cream for the skin to soothe it. With its ingredients, which have been dermatologically tested for very sensitive skin, it soothes inflamed areas of skin before it becomes too acute. This lotion can also be applied all over the body as often as necessary.
4. 10% urea lotion
I use this cream for everyday use. Because it is very rich and moisturizing. I wouldn’t recommend this if you have inflamed skin. But rather for the phases between the inflammations in order to care for the skin as well as possible and to strengthen the skin barrier. This body lotion from Eucerin can be applied to the entire body.
The Eucerin brand has really managed to produce effective care for sensitive skin. Without irritating fragrances. I think I made my admiration for this brand pretty clear with this post. I therefore recommend this for all people who often struggle with their skin. There are solutions for us!
