Lips – a big controversial topic – now i tell you my personal story
There are so many prejudices about lip injections. Everyone always imagines a duck face first, or as they say in Vienna, dinghy lips. Of course, we are constantly exposed to these images through social media and think that every procedure only looks artificial. My goal was always to improve my overall appearance in a natural way through the procedures. In simple words, it has to look natural.
This is the third time I’ve had my lips filled with hyaluronic acid. – and I love it. I have to admit that after the first time I was shocked at how huge they were immediately after the treatment and in the first week. I thought they would never get smaller again. Luckily, after about a week, my lips have subsided and the beautiful heart shape has emerged. I had my lips shaped into a heart shape so that the mouth looks a little more open and it doesn’t stick out to the side like a duck’s. In total I took 1ml. – as well as every time.

A brief summary of the important points I know:
👄 Do not massage or pressure the lips within the first 24 hours
👄 The lips will feel very hard and swollen afterwards – this is completely normal
👄 Drink slowly – straws don’t help
👄 The first 24 hours are the worst – it will get better
👄 No alcohol and no cigarettes on the first day
👄 Because the lips are suddenly larger, they can become very dry – lubricate them carefully with Vaseline or labello.
👄 When sleeping, be careful not to press anything against your lips
👄 No exercise for 1 week
I just want to mention that I am not a doctor nor have I had any training. This is just my personal summary of my experiences and the tips I got. It can vary from person to person.
