„What happens in Mykonos, stays in Mykonos. I mean kind of…“, My spectacular Bachelorette Trip

Welcome to my unique and spectacular Bachelorette trip to Mykonos, Greece. The island near Athens is one of the It-places for summer, sun, beach and lots of fun. That’s why I had to celebrate my bachelor party there with 5 of my closest friends properly. It was a trip that I will certainly never forget. I am incredibly grateful to my friends for organizing and making this whole trip to Mykonos happen.

Before I go into detail, I would like to briefly tell you something about Mykonos. The island is located in the Mediterranean and, along with Santorini, is the most expensive island in the entire Mediterranean. Anyone with enough money comes here to party. There are a variety of different beach clubs that are prepared precisely for such guests. The prices are really high, but you get a lot in return. The customer is king/queen. You feel that from the first second and the quality of everything is of the highest standard.

The Villa:

The villa where we spent the days and nights is called “Elements Mykonos Villa”. A dream. This is exactly what you imagine when you drive here. Everything is so Greek decorated and you feel like you are in Paradis. And the view from the terrace with the infinity pool was priceless. No wonder we spent most of our time on the terrace.

The villa had 5 rooms, each with a double bed and separate bathroom including toilet. There were 6 of us, so there was enough privacy and everyone could get ready at the same time. There was also a large lounge area with a small sofa area, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. I loved this villa and can only recommend it to everyone.

Skorpios Mykonos:

I told my friends that I will not interfere in the entire organization of this holiday. But the only thing that was on my to-do list was the Scorpios Mykonos restaurant. I had seen it many times on Instagram and I just had to go there. The restaurant is located at a peninsula of the island, so you have an incredible view of the sea.

As soon as you got out of the taxi you felt, at least for me, like you were in a mysterious desert where only the high society can go. The lounge area was also beautiful and comfortable. The staff was a bit tense at first but friendly towards the end. The meal was delicious. Especially the half-backed cookie. Overall it was a very expensive experience and I’m happy I went there.

Mykonos Town:

The inner city of Mykonos is exactly as you would imagine. Everything is white, the houses and streets and many colorful windows and doors. Of course I am aware that this is all done mainly for the tourists, as there were paint buckets everywhere. But it’s still charming. There are many small and narrow streets. You feel a bit like you’re in a labyrinth. And I was told that even the locals get lost sometimes.

There are small shops everywhere that sell fashion, jewelry, shoes and more. The stores may look cute, but the prices are not at all. When shopping on Mykonos, you shouldn’t forget that the prices here are high. Nevertheless, we did some shopping and bought a friendship bracelet together as a reminder of this fun trip.

Restaurant Nice n Easy:

While strolling around the city center I discovered the Nice n Easy restaurant by chance. I had only seen the large terrace with all the flowers and had to sit down. The waiters were immediately friendly and accommodating. The food, a different combination of starters, was extremely tasty. And the cocktails too. Strong and sweet. The perfect place for refreshments.

Principote Beach Club:

A beach club that everyone recommended to us is Principote Mykonos. A classy beach club and restaurant on almost the other end of the island. In terms of concept and design, it is truly in a different league. I felt like I was a combination of a Greek goddess and a star. Of course, the prices here are also accordingly high. But as you can see on the pictures the prices are understandable. The food and drinks were heavenly. There were truffles, oysters and steak. So the best of the best.

The whole Principote area is huge. It is divided into a large restaurant area, a lounge area and a beach area. Which are all connected to each other. Since we had such beautiful weather that day, I really wanted to lie on a sun lounger and relax. At exactly this time the party started in the dining area and the first people got up and danced.

Summary:

It was the best bachelorette trip I could have imagined. Of course, not everything went perfectly according to plan, but that’s life. I think this just makes the trip to Mykonos even more memorable. At the end of our 4 days I was completely exhausted. But I would have liked to stay longer. And luckily it wasn’t just me, because we all agreed that we would come back in the summer. We were there at the preseason. And there was already some people partying, but in summer it is 10 times as crowded. So we’re excited…
