At first glance, the Ostermarkt Schloss Schönbrunn doesn’t look that big, but it takes up almost half of the entire forecourt. The market is L-shaped and there are fun seats everywhere. I thought it was so cute that there were always colorful egg-shaped armchairs standing around. A funny idea that will stay in your memory. Apart from the typical attractions for adults, many are offered for children. A carousel, a restaurant and there were hidden puzzles everywhere that they could solve.
Food & Drinks
Most people were probably at the Ostermarkt Schloss Schönbrunn because of all the food and drink. With all that delicious smell you can hardly resist. The Ostermarkt Schloss Schönbrunn offers a variety of stalls where you can buy unique delicacies. Typically Austrian food and drinks are on the menu. As well as sweet Kaiserschmarrn with plum roasters, a salty lard bread with onions. Which is best eaten with a cold beer. If you don’t like beer, there are plenty of other options, as well as a delicious Austrian gin.

What should definitely not be missing at a market are all the stalls with decorations. At the Ostermarkt Schloss Schönbrunn there was an incredible selection of beautiful, colorful Easter decorations. Differently painted eggs, from classic to extravagant. – of course I also had to buy an egg as a souvenir. Easter shaped gingerbread. The finest porcelain flowers, unique rolling pins and other Easter decorations. There are so many different decorations that it’s hard to decide.
