The fastest and easiest way to burn calories? The fastest, yes, but definitely not the easiest.
Let me introduce you to Super Cycle. There are 4 different studios in Vienna, I prefer to go to the one in the 4th district because, to put it simple, it is closest to me. The studios are all in the basement. The entrance area is bright and friendly, as are the staff. There are classes every day, whether in the morning, at lunch or in the evening. You always have to book your lesson online. There you can also choose which studio and which trainer. Because every trainer has their own style and their own taste in music – just try out a few classes until you find the right one for you.
Back to the studio again. A feature of the studio is that everything is very bright and has gold accents and everything is kept rather minimalistic. There are separate cloakrooms and even showers. There are also small lockers with keys for valuables. But then there is the big golden door…
When you open it you are literally in a different sphere. Welcome to the Super Cycle universe. This is an all-black room with mirrors, colored neon lights and lots of bicycles. In the middle there is a platform where the trainer rides and shows everything and the other bikes are placed in a half circle around it.
The workout lasts about 45 minutes and you will feel every single minute of it. Super cycling is not just about riding but also about coordination your body. You always have to stay in time – this changes almost after every song – you have to keep your body tense and do exercises with your upper body at the same time. It all might sound a bit much, but believe me, after this workout you’ll feel like a new person.
