The Ziizuu restaurant in Vienna is a real insider tip for the high society in Vienna. With its unique blend of modern and traditional cuisine, Ziizuu offers an ambience that is as welcoming as it is stylish, just like its guests. A truly unique place in Vienna. It is a place where you will definitely be seen.
For me, Ziizuu is a colorful mix of everything. Very simple and dark from the outside, true colorful splendor awaits you inside. You feel like you’re in the jungle. There are plants everywhere, palm trees, even on the ceiling. Different colored lights brighten up the room and give it something extravagant. The furniture is also rather dark and the seats are made of green or black velvet.
– Be careful, if you wear a velvet dress like the one I wore, it can happen that you slip down the seat a little bit. –
The menu at Ziizuu is very classy and manageable. Personally, I also think the cuisine has a bit of an Asian touch. That would also explain why the table was set like that. For me, the highlight for me in terms of food was the popcorn shrimp. These were so incredibly good that I definitely ate at least two portions. We also ordered the yoshiki rolls. Consisting of wagyu, asparagus tempura, cucumber, avocado and black truffle. We also ordered truffle fries. By the way, the cocktail that evening was the pornstar martini.
But if you think that’s all Ziizuu has to offer, you’re wrong. The atmosphere of the restaurant reminds me of Paris. It is common there for a restaurant to become a club. With a DJ and dancers. And it’s all here too. From around 9 p.m. the lights get darker and the music gets louder. Between the guests‘ seats, a few dressed-up ladies dance around and move to the music. This doesn’t exist anywhere else in the rather prudish Vienna.
Ziizuu Restaurant is more than just a place to dine – it is an experience for the senses. With its mix of high-quality ingredients, creative cuisine and a distinctive ambience, Ziizuu has secured a permanent place in the Viennese restaurant scene. Here you don’t just eat, you enjoy it in a way that you won’t soon forget.
